Pre-Bulletin Update

Ahead of Tuesday 9th May's release of Bulletin 8, The Task Force would like to inform readers and recipients that Bulletins 8, 9 and 11 will contain respondent's own text entries taken directly from the survey's 'free comment' sections.

All of these comments are treated in confidence and will remain anonymous. These text responses are verbatim contributions from survey respondents.

The AGS BDA Task Force has chosen to publish these anonymous contributions in order to best reflect the factual findings from the survey. It is also hoped that some of these text entries will help to generate further conversation and discussion within the industry that could help with any potential steps forward for Ground Investigation in the UK.

Each individual comment/contribution is opinion held by the contributor only and does not necessarily reflect the stance of either Trade Association.

The Association of Geotechnical and Geo-environmental Specialists (AGS) and the British Drilling Association (BDA) agreed in 2016 to set up a joint initiative to shine a 'Spotlight' on the UK Ground Investigation industry. This is one of several Bulletins providing statistical feedback from the survey's findings.

Please forward this email on to your colleagues and industry acquaintances in order to reach as wider audience as possible for the most productive discussions.
